You’ve Found an Implant Dentist You Can Trust

No one gets excited about losing their teeth — even knowing that dental implants in Mt. Pleasant are available as a 100 percent effective solution. In fact, many people don’t really know what dental implants are or how positively they can impact the process of tooth loss. If you are missing one, a few, or even all of your teeth, the team at Kari Ryan Dentistry would love an opportunity to talk to you about your tooth-replacement options. We are here to help you regain the confidence and function you might have thought were lost forever.

THE STRUGGLE WITH MISSING TEETH

Teeth can be lost or need to be surgically removed for a host of reasons:

  • Aging
  • Dry mouth
  • Certain medications
  • Accidents or facial trauma
  • Osteoporosis
  • Cardiovascular disease
  • Hormonal changes
  • Gum disease
  • Cancer and cancer treatments
  • Tobacco use (smoking and chewing)
  • Autoimmune diseases such as Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Weakened immune system
  • Nutritional deficiencies
  • Tooth decay
  • Poor oral hygiene
  • Breakage or severe damage from bruxism (clenching and grinding)
  • A diet high in acids and sugars
  • Certain disabilities that make oral hygiene difficult
  • Family history of gum disease
  • Stress

The list could go on and on, but you get the idea: Tooth loss doesn’t only occur because of poor oral hygiene.

But no matter how you have lost your teeth, your implant dentist understands how devastating the changes can be to your lifestyle. Eating can become a chore. Your speech is altered. Your facial bone structure begins to shrink and cause a collapsed look. You could begin to develop TMJ issues. Your confidence suffers, and you hide your smile. And that sticky adhesive! It’s mushy and can’t hold your dentures as securely as you thought it would. Tooth loss is absolutely no fun.

HAVE REVOLUTIONIZED

tooth loss

Now bridges, partials, and dentures aren’t your only solution for tooth replacement! Dental implants in Mt. Pleasant have completely changed the way our patients experience life after tooth loss. Unlike removable dental prosthetics that pinch or slip out of place, dental implants from Kari Ryan Dentistry are fixed in your mouth just the way your natural teeth were. This restores function and beauty that is as good, or better, than you had with your own teeth! They really are incredible and our patients love them.

The big difference is that dental implants replace both your tooth and its root for the most natural-feeling, stable, and attractive tooth replacement possible.

No more:

  • Pinching, slipping, and clacking
  • Gooey dental adhesive
  • Removal for soaking
  • Plastic covering your gums or the roof of your mouth
  • Difficulty chewing or biting
  • Unnatural-sounding speech

Best of all, because the titanium implant posts that your implant dentist surgically places into your jaw bone replace your tooth roots and keep the bone stimulated, bone loss is greatly reduced or stopped!

“Implants are an awesome way to replace one or multiple teeth because they are strong and predictable, we can make them look beautiful and natural, and they are fixed in your mouth just like your natural teeth.” – Dr. Kari Ryan

CHOICES CHOICES CHOICES

deciding on the right implant for you

Whether you are coming to us for a tooth or teeth extraction or you have had dentures for years, we can help you decide which tooth replacement option is right for you. We start by using our non-invasive 3-D Cone Beam scanner to take an image of your jawbone structure. If you have sufficient bone mass and good oral health, we will refer you to a trusted oral surgeon for the placement of your post or posts while we fabricate your replacement teeth. If you have some bone loss, we can often reinforce the structure enough with bone grafting before we refer you for placement for your dental implants in Mt. Pleasant.

Your dental implant choices include:

  • Single tooth, post-and-crown
  • Implant-retained bridges, partials, or dentures
  • All-on-Four full arch, fixed dental implant bridges

…all of which give you outstanding comfort, function, and appearance.

Talk to your implant dentist about your options at your next visit or call us anytime. We’d love to bring back your smile!
