After we greet you and let you get settled in, we’ll take you on a tour of the office so you can get familiar with your new smile home and family. Almost everyone is pleased by our soothing atmosphere, super-clean facilities, and pampering extras. Once you feel at home, we will take some time to get to know you, listening to your concerns, answering your questions, and getting your dental history.
Then, on to more fun stuff: The comprehensive exam! At our state-of-the-art dental office in Mt. Pleasant, we love to involve our patients in this examination, talking to them and showing them what we are seeing as we go along. Of course, if you have any concerns or questions, go ahead and ask! This first exam is special and we will never rush you through it. It helps us get a clear and complete picture of your health, get to know your needs, and understand exactly how we can start you on the path to complete oral health. If it has been a while since your last x-rays, we may ask for digital radiographs to make sure we have the fullest understanding of your current dental status.
Next comes the refreshing and invigorating feeling of a cleaning. Our hygienists at Kari Ryan Dentistry are famous for their gentle touch and make quick work of all the dulling plaque and scary bacteria that have been hiding on your teeth and at the gum line.
You’ll leave with a treatment plan, if necessary, a bright smile, and a new idea of what dentistry should be.
