Dr. Kristi Dillard grew up in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina and received her Bachelor’s Degree from the College of Charleston. She graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine, where she met and married her husband, Dr. Matt Dillard. She completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at MUSC after graduating.
She and Matt moved from Charleston so Matt could attend The Ohio State University for an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency. Dr. Kristi accepted a faculty position in the College of Dentistry at Ohio State. She served as an instructor in the comprehensive care clinics, taught several freshman dental courses and won three teaching awards during her four-year term. Dr. Kristi then moved with her husband to Okinawa, Japan where Matt served in the US Navy for three years. This time was devoted to growing their family; she and Matt have three children: Lucas, Cole and Ella Grace.
Dr. Kristi enjoys seeing patients of all ages. She is committed to delivering quality dentistry to patients and attends continuing education courses to stay abreast of the changes occurring in dentistry. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys running, hiking, reading and attends Point Hope United Methodist Church. She and her family live in Mt. Pleasant.
