About Dr. Kari A. Ryan

Dr. Kari Ryan grew up in Michigan and received her Bachelor's Degree from Michigan State University. She married her college sweetheart, JB Ryan, and together they moved south for careers and southern sunshine. Dr. Kari graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Kari completed a prosthodontic fellowship at the MUSC Oral and Maxillofacial Clinic, where she focused on  implant restorations, crowns and bridges, dentures, and treating medically compromised patients. Dr. Kari strives to stay current with new technology and materials, and regularly attends continuing education courses. She feels strongly about giving back to the community through dental clinics and mission trips.

When not doing dentistry, Dr. Kari enjoys participating in any activity outdoors. She is an avid runner and beach volleyball player, and loves yoga, swimming, and tennis. She also enjoys photography and painting, and attends St. Andrews Church. Above all, Dr. Kari cherishes her time with her beloved family. She and JB are the proud new parents of a baby girl, Avery Ann.

Dr. Kari is a member of the Charleston Dental Society, South Carolina Dental Association, and American Dental Association.

About Dr. Rhyne

Dr. Rhyne was raised on Sullivan’s Island, SC. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Newberry College, SC, and his Master’s in Textile Technology. He graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina with his Doctor of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Rhyne is married to the former Linda Smith of Hanahan. They have two sons, Craig, Jr. and Joseph. Craig, Jr. is a Citadel graduate, MUSC School of Dentistry graduate, and is an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon. He is married to Jennifer Neal Rhyne. They reside in Mount Pleasant, S.C. with their two sons and daughter. Joseph proudly serves in the US Air Force and is stationed in England. Dr. and Mrs. Rhyne reside in Hobcaw Point in Mt. Plesant and are active members of Hibben United Methodist Church.

Dr. Rhyne is a former faculty member of MUSC School of Dentistry. He was past president of the Charleston Dental Society. He is a member of the American Dental Association and a member of various dental study clubs.
